THE POPCORNIST MISSION

We want to show you how easy it is to make the best popcorn you’ve ever tasted, with the most tantalising toppings imaginable – all in the comfort of your own kitchen!

Here at The Popcornist, you’ll find everything you need to make wonderfully fluffy, natural popcorn at home – with traditional popcorn makers, the best kernels around and deliciously daring recipes concocted with the help of food scientist Dr Rachel Edwards-Stuart.

You can also delve into the weird and wonderful history of popcorn or don your lab coat and goggles for a fascinating peek at the science behind the pop.

THE TALE OF THE MUSHROOM AND THE BUTTERFLY

Once upon a time there were two nondescript brown kernels. So unremarkable were these kernels that at first glance you’d barely be able to tell them apart. But when they were heated something magical happened – their true forms were revealed. One burst forth in all directions, becoming an exuberant butterfly. The other bloomed into a wonderfully round mushroom. We love them both equally, that’s why we put them in our logo.
